Musical Theatre Camps
Participants in the Musical Theatre Camp will put on an abbreviated production of the musical. All students that enroll will sing, dance and act in the show. Auditions for specific roles will be held the first day of camp. (Be ready to sing a short solo and read from the script.) Participants will also construct, paint and hang the backdrops, design the programs, and learn about the history of musical theatre. The performance will be held at Dance & Music Academy on Friday night (last day of camp) at 6:00pm.
Each camp will meet Monday-Friday from 11:00am-3:00pm. (Bring a sack lunch.)
Tuition for each camp is $200.
Before you register: Tuition is non-refundable. Please be sure you are able to commit to the camp you select.

An old woman, Gothel, finds a magical flower that was created as a drop of sunlight hit the ground. When she sings a song to the flower, it has the power to keep her young. Centuries pass and the queen of a kingdom nearby is ill, while expecting a child. The flower – hidden by Gothel – is found and taken to the queen. The magic of the flower works and the queen is healed. She gives birth to a baby girl, Rapunzel, who inherits the power of the flower. Gothel kidnaps Rapunzel and hides her in a tower. Will Rapunzel be trapped in the tower forever? |

Conrad Birdie has been drafted to the army. As a farewell, the rock and roll star is scheduled to sing Alberta Peterson's "One Last Kiss" and dance with a girl from Sweet Apple, Ohio live on the Ed Sullivan Show. This show will get your bobby socks tapping to the 1950s style tunes and poodle skirt-twirling dance moves!
